Killian Hayes totaled four points (1-6 FG, 1-5 3PT, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, seven assists, one block, and one steal in 29 minutes in the Pistons' 102-99 loss to the Hornets on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Hayes had 7.0 turnovers in the Pistons' loss to the Hornets, making it the most turnovers he has ever had in a game this regular season. He contributed to every performance category of the stat-sheet, which demonstrated his versatility; however, his lack of discipline in protecting the ball somewhat overshadowed any positives that he may have produced in this game. If the Pistons remain invested in their promising young rookie, Hayes could develop into a strong fantasy asset for years to come; however, it will be up to you to decide whether you want to be a part of that journey or not, for fantasy sake that is. Given his potential upside and ability to routinely produce value in a variety of different ways, he could be worth looking at as a "Hail-Mary" flier for your DFS lineups.
