Anthony Edwards exploded for 42 points (17-22 FG, 8-9 3PT, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block, and three turnovers in Wednesday night's defeat to the Grizzlies.
Fantasy Impact:
Fantasy managers would think that Edwards' monster 42-point game tonight established a new career-high, yet he actually dropped another 42 points on March 18th in Phoenix. The key difference was that he shot 77.3% from the field in this one, compared to 48.4% in the other. He additionally drained all but one of his nine shots from beyond the arc. Edwards has had a remarkable second-half of the season, and is easily a top-two candidate (along with LaMelo Ball) for Rookie of the Year.
