Trent returned Thursday after missing six games due to a lower leg injury. He showed no signs of rust by pouring in 25 points in Thursday’s loss to the Wizards. Trent was in the startling lineup Thursday but could return to the bench with the impending return of Kyle Lowry (rest). The 22-year-old guard is averaging 15.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.0 steals, and 2.9 triples across 31.0 minutes in 2020-21. Trent will look to build on Thursday’s performance when the Raptors host the Grizzlies on Saturday.
