DeMar DeRozan totaled 20 points (5-21 FG, 10-11 FT), three rebounds, and three assists in 38 minutes in the Spurs 100-96 loss to the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
DeRozan underwhelmed in the Spurs' loss to the Grizzlies, putting together a less than ideal performance at the most inopportune time. He couldn't buy a bucket for "free" as he shot 23.8 percent from the floor, making it one of if not the worst scoring performance of his 2020-2021 campaign. It wasn’t a great year for DeRozan as he regressed in almost every major statistical category. He averaged 33.7 minutes, 21.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.2 blocks per game while shooting 49.5 percent from the floor and 25.7 percent from beyond the arc. He will look to get back into better form next year.
