Trae Young ends Knicks season with 36 points in Game 5

by Chris Ferro | Hawks Correspondent | Thu, Jun 3rd 1:57pm EDT

Trae Young scored 36 points (10-28 Fg, 13-15 Ft, 3-11 3Pt) nine assists, four rebounds, and two steals across 41 minutes in the Hawks 103-89 Game 5 win over the Knicks on Wednesday night in NYC.

Fantasy Impact:

Young didn't have his best game from the field in Game 5 as he shot just 35% from the floor including a very underwhelming 27% from three-point range but he was able to do a lot of damage from the charity stripe and overall had a very good series against the Knicks averaging 29.2 ppg over the five games. Next up for the Hawks is a matchup with the Sixers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals starting on Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia.
