Luka Doncic totaled 29 points (11-24 FG, 2-9 3PT, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds, eleven assists, and four steals in the Mavericks’ 104-97 loss to the Clippers on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Doncic scored 29.0 points in the Mavericks’ loss to the Clippers, putting up one of his lowest scoring performances in the series. Even though it wasn’t a lights-out performance that some were maybe anticipating, he did pull together a gratifying fantasy line that continued to further establish his dominance as an elite fantasy player. He will look to take his game to another level to beat a Clippers team that has talent and experience to go along with their intensity. We will see what the young superstar will have in store for us. Still, if the remaining seconds of the last game indicates the type of energy and fight he will bring to this game, a “get yo’ popcorn ready” declaration may be an understatement for what we may be in store for tonight.
