Tim Hardaway Jr. scores 23 points in loss to the Clippers

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Mavericks Correspondent | Sun, Jun 6th 3:04pm EDT

Tim Hardaway Jr. totaled 23 points (9-19 FG, 4-11 3PT, 1-1 FT) and one rebound in the Mavericks’ 104-97 loss to the Clippers on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Hardaway scored 23.0 points in the Mavericks’ loss to the Clippers, putting up another fine scoring effort but unfortunately didn’t do much else by creating additional value outside of that. Yes, scoring is a significant aspect of beating an offensively explosive Clippers squad, but so is tempo, momentum, and positioning. All these different elements can be found in somewhat of a well-distributed fashion throughout the Clippers squad, however not so much in high dosages for the Mavericks. Hardaway could be fine staying in his role as a scorer; however, he may need to do more to give his team the edge. If he can do that, then we could be in for a pleasant surprise fantasy-wise on this limited slate.
