Michael Porter Jr. totaled 11 points (3-13 FG, 2-9 3PT, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, and one assist in the Nuggets’ 123-98 loss to the Suns on Wednesday.
Porter will hope to get going after the Nuggets' loss to the Suns, as his production has taken a big hit due to his back injury. It could be tough investing in him at this point, especially with the return of Will Barton. As the Nuggets scramble to find some direction, the team could opt to play the hot hand and abandon the formalities of their original lineup. Even though this is a possibility that could hurt Porter's stock, it could lead to him becoming an attractive tournament play given the potential of low ownership, his talent, and the urgency the team will have to play with to stay "alive."
