Trae Young agrees to rookie max extension with Atlanta

Trae Young agreed to a five-year $207 million designated rookie maximum extension with the Atlanta Hawks. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter )

Coming off a season where he led a magical run with Atlanta to the Eastern Conference Finals, losing to the eventual NBA champions in the Milwaukee Bucks, Young got his pay day. He will look to pick up where he left off this upcoming season after averaging just under 30 points per game in the playoffs run.
