Ben Simmons has told Sixers brass he no longer wants to be in Philadelphia

According to multiple sources, Sixers G/F Ben Simmons has told co-managing partner Josh Harris, president of basketball operations Daryl Morey, general manager Elton Brand, and head coach Doc Rivers that he no longer wants to be in Philadelphia and doesn’t plan to report to training camp. The Simmons saga continues, but this time it seems for real. He met with Sixers brass last week in Los Angeles and reportedly told the team he’s serious about not reporting to training camp ahead of the 2021-22 season. At this point, it’d be in Philadelphia’s best interest to see what kind of return they can get for the three-time All Star.
