LaMarcus Aldridge comes out of retirement to sign with the Nets

by Alex Burns | Nets Correspondent | Fri, Sep 3rd 9:17pm EDT

Big man LaMarcus Aldridge announced on Friday that he would come out of retirement and sign a one-year, $2.6 million deal with the Brooklyn Nets. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Concerns over an irregular heartbeat forced the veteran big man to retire in April, though he's reportedly been cleared by 'a number of doctors' to make his return. With DeAndre Jordan no longer in the mix, Aldridge will look to bolster a Nets front court currently consisting of Blake Griffin, Paul Millsap, Nicolas Claxton, and Jahlil Okafor.
