Warriors C James Wiseman has been assigned to the team's G League affiliate in Santa Cruz as of Monday, although he is still not cleared for 5-on-5 work. (Anthony Slater on Twitter)

Wiseman will likely begin with individual drills down in Santa Cruz before slowly building up his practice reps and conditioning before ultimately returning to Golden State. The timeline is unclear on when Wiseman will actually be back with the NBA team, but a return by the end of December or early January seems probable based on his injury's history with other players around the league. He should certainly be picked up in fantasy due to the upside he presents as a center who can rack up rebounds and blocks with ease.
