Jaylen Brown (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of the Celtics Friday night tilt against the Jazz. (Jay King on twitter )

Brown is likely just receiving a day off to ensure no set backs occur to the hamstring he injured earlier this year. His status will need to be monitored past Friday to see whether it was just truly a day off or if he suffered a setback and will be out longer.
