Paul George does better in win over the Lakers

Paul George totaled 19 points (7-20 FG, 0-7 3PT, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, nine assists, and two steals in the Clippers’ 119-115 win over the Lakers on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

George did better in the Clippers’ win over the Lakers as he pulled together a stat-line that was more reminiscent of what we come to expect from the team’s lead competitor. He wasn’t efficient from the floor by any means, but he did manage to limit his turnovers and came two rebounds and one assist short of putting up his first triple-double of the season. Considering the other team was the Lakers, the true impact of his rest day may have been overlooked due to the tough match-up. Hopefully, George has made a breakaway from his slump to find himself back into the elite fantasy club. Next, they have the Kings, which could be the perfect opponent for Paul to perform well against to show us that he is entirely back. Investing in Paul, especially at his discount, could be one of the best moves to make at this point as he could be on track for a series of great games.
