Fantasy Impact:
The tenth-year bigman was acquired from Sacramento on Tuesday along with Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield. While Haliburton and Hield figure to assume large roles on their new team, how Thompson fits in seems to be more of a mystery. He very well could contribute in a similar role as he had for the Kings, where he averaged 6.2 points and 5.4 rebounds in 15.2 minutes per game
