Beal has a player option for next season, but if he opts out of it, that makes him eligible to sign a 5-year, $246M deal with Washington. When asked if it is fair to assume that he's leaning towards resigning with the team, the veteran guard said 'that's fair'. Look for him and the team to push for a new deal this offseason.
