Joel Embiid fitted for mask, will attempt to play in Game 3 Friday

Joel Embiid has been fitted for a protective mask and will attempt to return for Game 3 Friday night against the Heat as reported by The Athletic's Shams Charania. (Shams Charania on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Joel Embiid is still recovering from an orbital fracture and torn thumb ligament but he has cleared concussion protocols and will attempt to return Friday. He has been fitted for a mask to protect his orbital fracture and attempt to continue to play through his injuries. Embiid will have to feel comfortable in the mask while on the court during warmups before the final call can be made on his status, Check back closer to tipoff but if Embiid plays, with everything on the line, he should see his usual high volume role and minutes.
