JaMychal Green traded to Thunder for draft picks

The Denver Nuggets have traded JaMychal Green, along with a protected 2027 first-round pick, to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for the 30th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and two future second-round picks according to ESPN Senior NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This trade gives Denver the 21st and 30th picks in this month’s Draft. Oklahoma City now has the 2nd, 12th and 34th picks this year as well as JaMychal Green. The trade also gives Denver the flexibility this summer to use a $6.4M mid-level exception or an $8.2M trade exception in free agency. Oklahoma City will absorb Green’s $8.2M contract with their $31M in cap space. This trade appears beneficial to both teams, now we wait to see what both teams do with their respective draft capital.
