Nicolas Batum to decline player option with Clippers

Nicolas Batum will decline his $3.3 million player option and become a free agent according to ESPN Senior NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Despite Batum dealing the option, there is said to be interest from both parties about reaching a new deal in July. Tatum has stated in the past his love for the Clippers and head coach Tyrone Lue so it's highly likely the veteran re-signs with LA. Whether our not he tests the free agency waters as well remains to be seen.
