Moves to clear salary cap continue for the Knicks on Tuesday as the team has traded Alec Burks and Nerlens Noel. The move frees up $19 million in cap space which will reportedly be used to sign Mavericks free agent guard Jalen Brunson. Several outlets have continued to report that Brunson will ink a four-year, $100 million contract with the Knicks at the start of free agency on Thursday.
