Bradley Beal declines player option

by Nate Lowenthal | Suns Correspondent | Wed, Jun 29th 4:39pm EDT

Bradley Beal has officially declined his $36.4 million player option, making him set to enter unrestricted free agency. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The Wizards star is eligible to re-sign with Washington on a five-year max deal or sign a deal of four or less years with another team. He is rumored to likely be back with Washington, but Beal himself has said his decision is already made so a quick decision can be expected when free agency opens. His fantasy value and counting stats will likely be best staying in Washington, however, it would be interesting to see how Beal would fit into a more competitive team.
