Dejounte Murray has been traded to the Atlanta Hawks for Danilo Gallinari, three future first-round picks, and a pick swap. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
After a complacent offseason last year, the Hawks make a big time move to bring in the all-star guard. The blockbuster deal will pair Murray with Trae Young to form one of the league's most dynamic backcourts. Murray will likely take a backseat to Young, but with not a ton of scoring on the roster beyond him, he should still have ample opportunity to produce. I would expect there to be more roster turnover for Atlanta, so it will likely have to wait until free agency is over to fully assess Murray's new value.
