The Chicago Bulls announced that Lonzo Ball will undergo an "arthroscopic debridement" of his left knee on Wednesday, Sept. 28, and will be re-evaluated in 4-to-6 weeks. (Chicago Bulls on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It looks like the knee injury that forced Ball to miss almost the entirety of the 2021-22 season is still lingering, as he will undergo another procedure. With Chicago's first game being played on Oct. 19, it looks like it may be a long shot for the point guard to be available to open the season. In terms of his fantasy value, this puts an even bigger question mark next to his name going into drafting season, and it may be the safe bet to stay away from him until more information is known.
