Dennis Smith Jr. gets a double-double in Hornets OT loss

Dennis Smith Jr. recorded a double-double on Wednesday, with 14 points and 11 assists in the Hornets 131-134 OT loss to the Knicks.
Fantasy Impact:
Dennis Smith Jr. continues to be productive as a starter for the Hornets. He is potentially carving out a decent sized role for himself even when the Hornets return to full strength. There’s potential he could be a starter even then instead of a bench player, but that is unlikely. Charlotte will likely use him to help lead the second unit if he keeps this up, which is still a key role he could play regardless of starter status.
