Kevin Durant totaled 31 points (12-20 FG, 3-6 3PT, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, and five assists in the Nets’ 111-97 win over the Trail Blazers on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Durant scored 31.0 points in the Nets' win over the Trail Blazers, making it his second consecutive game with 30.0 or more points. After putting up one of his worst scoring performances against the Raptors on November 23rd, he has seemingly pulled himself out of a two-game production slump that could lead to a streak of sensational play that puts him back into the must-start conversation. It also helps that the team is starting to find their identity and stride; Durant can begin to focus on doing what he does best as the team's x-factor without having to shoulder the responsibilities of leading the team in ways outside of his core game. This focus could help him mentally and motivationally as he looks to help the team reach a competitive level in the Eastern Conference. A focused Durant who trusts the process and his team could result in consistent MVP-level performances down the road. Until then, he remains a must-consider asset who will need to be strategically deployed in your lineups to ensure you are maximizing the value of your lineup builds.
