Jimmy Butler is reportedly not expected to sign a contract extension with the Heat or any other team ahead of his opt-out in 2025 free agency. (Shams Charania)

Butler will likely play out the final year of his contract with Miami next season before entering free agency next offseason. There had been sign-and-trade rumors with Butler as well earlier in the offseason.
