Slow night to start the season, Anthony Davis scores 18

Davis started the season with an 18 point (4-20 from the field), six rebound, three block, two assist and five turnover performance. He also went 0-of-2 from three and 10-of-15 from the free throw line.
Fantasy Impact:
The big man just couldn't get it going offensively against Golden State. Shooting a forgettable 20%, the shots simply weren't dropping. Defensively Davis got his blocked shots, but having to constantly help out and guard what seemed like the entire Golden State team at times, he was rarely in position to get the rebounds. Chalk this performance up to just an off night and expect the "Brow" to bounce back in their second game of the back-to-back, against Portland.
