Joel Embiid (knee) considered day-to-day

Embiid does not have any structural damage in his right knee and is considered day-to-day, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. The star center sat out Tuesday’s win over the Celtics due to soreness in the knee, which is different from the left knee that caused issues in past seasons and required offseason surgery. Fantasy Impact:
Philadelphia doesn’t play again until Friday in Detroit, giving Embiid a few days to recover before the team updates his status. Andre Drummond is expected to remain the starting center while Embiid is out, with Adem Bona continuing to serve as his backup.
