Bobby Portis scores 19 points in expanded role

Bobby Portis stepped up in Thursday's loss to the 76ers, recording 19 points (9-of-14 FG), eight rebounds, one steal, and one three-pointer in 28 minutes. He was selected by head coach Doc Rivers to help cover for Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is out with a strained groin.

Fantasy Impact:

Although Portis was productive, his usage came with some caveats. Myles Turner matched his playing time with 28 minutes, and Gary Trent Jr. actually started the third quarter in place of Portis, indicating the rotation was influenced by the matchup. Despite the potential for fluctuating minutes, the lack of reliable frontcourt depth in Milwaukee makes Portis a worthy risk in deeper leagues while Antetokounmpo is sidelined for the next one to two weeks.
