Anthony Davis records 10th double-double in Pelicans loss

by George Haw | Lakers Correspondent | Thu, Dec 3rd 9:29am EST

Davis scored 29 points (9-of-20 from the field and 10-of-11 from the line) and 13 rebounds to go along with one assist, two blocks, two steals and two turnovers in 35 minutes Wednesday. Over the past five games, Davis is averaging 25 points, 12.2 rebounds, 3.2 blocks, 1.6 steals, 52 percent from the field and 76 percent from the line.

Fantasy Impact:

With the exception of a few recent minor injuries (including a seemingly sore right shoulder in Wednesday's game) Davis has been on a roll. That right shoulder "injury" in Wednesday's game was minor and didn't hold him out for any time. It seems like we're all just holding our breath as we both enjoy and fear this ride that Anthony Davis seems to be on. The nagging injuries should worry owners somewhat, and since he is playing so well, it may be a good time to figure out his trade value. If you can get enough for him, Davis could be a good player to sell high on, allowing owners to get great value that doesn't come with the day-to-day injury concerns. That's not to say, however, that anyone should be worrying too much just yet. He's still a beast of a fantasy player and can still produce enough to make good teams elite.
