Jimmy Butler to miss three-to-four weeks

by Dale Redman | Heat Correspondent | Tue, Feb 9th 2:09pm EST

Bulls' All-Star Jimmy Butler was re-evaluated by the training staff and will miss the next three-to-four weeks with a strained knee. Butler will miss the All-Star Game this week but should return by mid-March. He originally suffered the injury Friday night versus Denver. (Marc Stein on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

A big blow for the Bulls and fantasy owners as Butler was performing at a high level this season while posting career high scoring numbers. Hopefully Butler will be back for the fantasy playoffs, but I would not count on it. Et'wan Moore will likely continue to start at shooting guard in Butler's place. Pau Gasol and Derrick Rose will take on added scoring responsibility as well.
