Fantasy Impact:

Currently, the Bulls are in the process of freeing up cap space in order to sign Wade, and they are looking to trade away Jose Calderon and Mike Dunleavy to do so. Jimmy Butler and Rajon Rondo have been actively recruiting Wade, plus Chicago is where the future Hall of Famer hails from. On top of that, the Bulls were the only team that even entertained the possibility of handing Wade a three-year contract. Considering that Wade was looking to cash in on the free agency bonanza that the raised salary cap has created and that he also desired the security of a three-year deal, the Bulls made the most sense for him financially.
