Amir Johnson gets option picked up

Amir Johnson had his 2016-17 option picked up by the Celtics on Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reports. Johnson's $12 million contract will now be guaranteed for the season, locking him in for at least one more year in Boston. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Johnson averaged 7.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 0.7 steals in 23 minutes per game during 79 games with Boston. With the Celtics potentially losing Tyler Zeller and Jared Sullinger in free agency, it could open up more minutes for Johnson. He should be considered a good fantasy option in deeper leagues but the only category he really impacts is rebounds.
