ESPN writer Marc Stein reports that the San Antonio Spurs have signed veteran forward David Lee to a two-year / $ 3.2 million deal with a player option in his second year. Lee is an 11-year veteran who has previously played for the Knicks, Warriors, Celtics, and Mavericks. (Marc Stein on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Lee will give the Spurs some depth in their frontcourt, but unless a major injury occurs to either Pau Gasol or LaMarcus Aldridge, Lee doesn’t have much fantasy value. The Spurs do like to rest their veteran players more than most teams do, so Lee could be a very valuable in daily leagues and as a streaming option on those rest nights.
