Kelly Olynyk to participate in non-contact drills

by John Aubin | Raptors Correspondent | Mon, Sep 26th 8:33pm EDT

Kelly Olynyk will be limited to non-contact drills during the start of training camp, Jay King of MassLive.com reports. Olynyk underwent right shoulder surgery in May and is still working his way back into the swing of things, so while he'll be restricted to start camp, he should see his activity level pick up as the regular season approaches. Fantasy Impact:

There is a chance that Olynyk could miss the beginning of the season. The young center does not want to miss too much time as this is a chance for him to finally break out. With Al Horford playing power forward, Olynyk should see plenty of minutes at the center spot and has a chance to show his rebounding and three-point skills. If he struggles he could fall back in the rotation which has happened in previous years for Olynyk.
