Nemanja Bjelica played 26 minutes off the bench and scored 14 points on 6-of-11 shots in a win against the Hornets on Friday evening. He made two three-pointers and added four rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks to his final line.

Fantasy Impact:

Bjelica's efforts off the bench this season have officially earned him deep sleeper status heading into drafts before the season starts next week. The Timberwolves broadcast team gave glowing reviews for Bjelica throughout the evening, and there's a lot to like. He committed to developing his body and game over the offseason and he's already earned the sixth man role off the bench for coach Tom Thibodeau. All signs point to Bjelica being a productive bench player and dark horse Sixth Man of the Year candidate. He'll have to do a lot to get there, but he can play multiple positions and shoot the three, something the Timberwolves desperately need from their bench. He's currently ranked 227 on our expert consensus rankings, with a high of 161. He's worth a late pick in deeper formats and is a definite watch list add in shallower leagues.
