Buddy Hield disappoints in debut

Buddy Hield logged 17 minutes in his regular season NBA debut in the Pelicans 107-102 loss to the Nuggets. Hield posted a mere four points, three assists, and one rebound. The rookie out of Oklahoma had a poor outing shooting the ball, recording 2-for-8 from the field and 0-for-3 from three point range.
Fantasy Impact:
Definitely not a night that Buddy Hield wanted to start his NBA career with. One of his talent's that was praised so much coming into the season was his shooting and he really did not display that at all against the Nuggets. If you can stash Hield on your bench for now it would not be a bad idea. If he does not prove to Alvin Gentry that he is reliable scorer, he will not be seeing the starting lineup or additional minutes anytime soon.
