Kawhi Leonard

Kawhi Leonard carries the Spurs in Sacramento

by Dakota Mitchell | Clippers Correspondent | Fri, Oct 28th 12:40pm EDT

Kawhi Leonard poured in 30 points (11-21 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five assists, five steals, and three rebounds in 35 minutes against the Kings on Thursday night.

Fantasy Impact:

The Spurs had to grind this one out, and the difference came in the form of the Klaw putting the clamps on the Kings to the tune of five second-half steals. He hasn't missed from the charity stripe yet this season despite 22 attempts, and he is now the first person to have 65 points and 10 steals in the first two games since 1979 (per Elias Sports). Leonard is putting on a show this season thus far, and if last year is any indication, he has actually been cold from outside. There is still room for improvement here, unfortunately for the rest of the league.
