Joel Embiid up to 28 minute limit restriction on Friday

Joel Embiid's minutes cap is now up from 24 to 28 for Friday's game against the Celtics. However, still in effect is the back-to-back protocol meaning Embiid will not play on Saturday. Embiid has been sensational this season with per-36 minute averages of 28.2 points, 12.2 rebounds, 3.8 blocks and 2.0 3-pointers. (Sixers PR on Twitter)
