Dirk Nowitzki (Achilles) out indefinitely

Dirk Nowitzki has been deemed "out indefinitely" by coach Rick Carlisle. This is not surprising as Nowitzki has missed 13 of the last 15 games. Also, the Mavericks are already a likely lottery team even though it is only December so need to rush him back. Nowitzki's status will be unknown as he likely won't play unless he's 100 percent healthy. Dorian Finney-Smith will continue to start in his place with Dwight Powell seeing additional minutes. Fantasy Impact:
From a fantasy perspective, the biggest benefactor is Harrison Barnes especially on the offensive end. It's a slight boost for Andrew Bogut, Deron Williams and Seth Curry when he returns. Dorian Finney-Smith would be a worthy add in deeper leagues and could be a daily low price play.
