Kevin Durant scores double-double in win against the Utah Jazz

Kevin Durant scored 21 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, as the Golden State Warriors beat the Utah Jazz in a road game on Thursday. He was on the court for a team-high 36 minutes and also managed four assists and two blocks.

Fantasy Impact:

Durant had another relatively quiet game, where he scored most of his points in garbage time. While he has been a true leader in the more tightly-contested games, he seems happy to take a backseat against the weaker opponents. Durant has scored points prolifically so far this season, so the strategy to rest him on offense could be more about allowing his teammates to build their confidence. He still makes his presence felt, under the ring, and is adept at drawing fouls to get to the free-throw line (he was 6-for-8 by this measure). This actually appears to be Durant's floor, which is encouraging, and he is never too far from an explosion.
