Stephen Curry top scores with 26 points in win over the Utah Jazz

Stephen Curry went 7-for-16 from the field, as the Golden State Warriors comfortably beat the Utah Jazz in a road game on Thursday night. On the court for a team-high 36 minutes, he also sunk all nine of his free-throws and pulled down five rebounds.

Fantasy Impact:

Curry started sensationally with 14 points in the first quarter and appeared poised to pull off a Klay Thompson-esque 60-point explosion. However, with the Warriors going up by 26 points in the starting period, and the game clearly wrapped up by half-time, the team took its foot off the gas and sent in the bench. The star-studded starting Warriors team is always in danger of being rested when the result is beyond doubt early -- which happens quite often. Curry shot close to 50 percent and was 3-for-9 from beyond three-point range, which was a marked improvement in this game. It also helped to lift the team's abysmally low shooting percentage (41 percent). This type of game used to be an aberration for Curry but, based on his underwhelming performances this season, it appears to be his new ceiling. At this stage, he is a good sell-high candidate.
