Kevin Durant scores 27 points and tops team shooting percentage in road win

Kevin Durant went 10-for-19 from the field during Monday night's win in New Orleans. In his 37 minutes on the court, he also shot 6-for-7 from the free-throw line, had three rebounds, three assists, and three turnovers.

Fantasy Impact:

Durant continues to get good looks at the hoop. He attempted the majority of his shots when the shot clock countdown was between 15 and 7 seconds, and the balance of the shots were made even earlier in the count. Almost 50 percent of his shots were attempted when he held the ball for less than two seconds, and he converted on almost 80 percent of these attempts. Strangely, this efficiency dropped significantly when he held the ball for between two and six seconds. It indicates that Durant has less work to do on his own and when the Warriors offense works well as a unit. That was obviously the case against the Pelicans. Expect this form to continue when Golden State hosts a middling New York Knicks team on Thursday night.
