Amile Jefferson

The Magic have waived Amile Jefferson on Thursday according to Josh Robbins of The Athletic.

Fantasy Impact

The team has let go of Jefferson to make room for James Ennis who was acquired from the Sixers. It is doubtful that Jefferson was owned in any fantasy leagues but if he was he can be dropped.

Amile Jefferson scored two points on 2-for-4 shooting with two assists and one block in 13 minutes as the Magic defeated the Wizards on Wednesday by a 122-101 score.

Fantasy Impact

Jefferson played a season-high in minutes on Wednesday as he was needed to help replace Jonathan Isaac who left the game early with a knee injury. The second-year forward may get some extra playing time in upcoming games with both Isaac and Aaron Gordon dealing with injuries leaving the Magic short at the position.

Amile Jefferson played four minutes on Friday grabbing one rebound and missing his only shot attempt as the Magic lost to the Rockets.

Fantasy Impact

Jefferson got to see some game action on Friday with the Rockets taking a big lead against the Magic. The 26-year-old forward has only played in six games this season as he has spent most of his time in the G-League and is not worth owning in fantasy.
