Eligibility
Demetrius Jackson has been waived by the 76ers.
Fantasy Impact
Jackson is off the fantasy radar of course as he heads over to China.
Demetrius Jackson scored eight points on a perfect night shooting as the Sixers knocked off the Suns 132-127 Wednesday night.
Fantasy Impact
Jackson did not miss on Wednesday, hitting his lone two-point attempt and connecting on both of his threes on a night where the Sixers were without Jimmy Butler and Wilson Chandler due to illness. With Markelle Fultz and Zhaire Smith still sidelined for the foreseeable future, Jackson may carve himself out a nice spot in coach Brett Brown's backcourt rotation, but seeing as he still falls behind Furkan Korkmaz, Landry Shamet and T.J. McConnell for bench minutes behind Butler, Ben Simmons and J.J. Redick, he's not worth more than a passing glance at this time.
Demetrius Jackson's contract has been terminated which makes him a free agent. Jackson will sign a 10-day deal and be sent to the G-League.
Fantasy Impact
The Rockets need room to keep Gerald Green so they are making moves to keep him on the 15-man roster for the rest of the season. Green is a must-own at this point with James Harden out.
Demetrius Jackson has agreed to a deal with the Rockets. The deal is a two-way deal and he will be competing with Bobby Jackson to backup Chris Paul. Jackson is no lock for the 15-man roster.
Fantasy Impact
Jackson could spend some time early in the season in the D-League before taking over the backup role for Bobby Brown. Jackson has more upside but Brown has the early edge for a few minutes behind CP3.
Demetrius Jackson has been waived by the Celtics on Saturday. It's another played who has been waived prior to their guaranteed deadline. Jackson will look to sign on with another team or go overseas.
Fantasy Impact
With Jackson gone, Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown will see more minutes and both players are players to keep an eye on with Avery Bradley now in Detroit.
