Drew II played with the NBA G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce last year. He appeared in 10 games, primarily coming off the bench, and averaged 8.1 points, 5.9 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 23.5 minutes while shooting 47.7 percent from the floor, 40 percent from three-point range and 71.4 percent from the foul line. The 27-year-old guard also played internationally in Lithuania and Puerto Rico. Drew II last played in the NBA back in the 2014-15 season with Philadelphia where he averaged 3.8 points, 1.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists over 12 games. He had previously been in training camp with the Heat in both 2013 and 2014. Drew II will have a difficult time making Miami's final roster.

Drew is coming off the best performance in his short NBA career with nine points and four assists. He should get plenty of minutes against New Orleans since Tony Wroten is also out with a torn ACL.
