Following an injury-marred and disappointing 2018 NFL season, long-time New England Patriots' stand out tight end Rob Gronkowski is expected to "strongly consider retirement," in the weeks and months after New England's season ends. Gronkowski was rumored to be considering retirement before the 2018 campaign began and was also the subject of trade rumors. The nine-year veteran battled a back injury and other ailments that held him to a career-low three touchdowns and only 47 receptions in 13 games.
D'Onta Foreman will play Week 16 photo
Sophomore running back D'Onta Foreman will make his 2018 season debut in Week 16 as the Texans travel to Philadelphia. Foreman has missed a year after tearing his Achilles' last season. He'll slot in behind Alfred Blue for change of pace work.

According to Tampa Bay Sports Radio, Buccaneers wide receiver DeSean Jackson could miss the remainder of the 2018 NFL season with a thumb injury. On WDAE's afternoon show, ESPN's Jenna Laine said that "I think it's quite possible we don't see [Jackson] the rest of the season." Laine indicated that Jackson's frustration over his current role combined with the thumb injury could mark the end of Jackon's time with the Bucs.
