Lineups
The Bears were forced to throw the ball much more than they wanted to last season as their defense and run game faltered. Allen Robinson was the primary beneficiary as he had a career-high 154 targets and finished with 98 catches for 1,147 yards and 7 touchdowns. Robinson is an elite talent who has consistently produced despite poor quarterback play for the entirety of his career. If Nick Foles takes over for Mitchell Trubisky this season, it could represent an upgrade for Robinson. Either way, he's likely to be among the league's target leaders again as the Bears' ancillary pass-catching options are underwhelming.
Draft Engine
Draft Engine
The No. 1 option in Chicago's passing game, Robinson has led the Bears in targets in each of his two seasons with the team. While it would be foolish to expect Robinson to come close to duplicating the 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns he posted in 2015, he did join Brandon Marshall and Marty Booker as the third Bears wideout ever to reach 98 receptions in a season.Thielen wasted no time developing a solid rapport with Kirk Cousins in the QB's first season as a Viking in 2018. Last year was a different story, as Thielen missed six games with a hamstring injury. His 12 catches for 179 yards over two playoff games in January is encouraging, and he'll be the top option in Minnesota's 2020 passing game with Stefon Diggs having been traded.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Allen Robinson turned back the clock in 2019, parlaying his first healthy season in three years into a WR11 finish. The most impressive aspect of his effort was the volume he received, with 18 more receptions than his breakout 1400 year sophomore season. While the emergence of Anthony Miller may threaten that volume, the release of Taylor Gabriel should mean A-Rob is locked into 150-odd targets. Given the possible positive efficiency regression if this offense takes a must needed step forward, Robinson is a real chance for a massive season. He's great value in the early 3rd round but can be taken even later than that. For reasons I don't understand, Adam Thielan is going off the board as the WR11. After 14 games without topping 8 targets, you'd think the love for the soon-t-be 30-year-old would have faded but people are still flocking to him, hoping for a repeat of his historic eight game 100+ yard/10+ target stretch. Sadly, that was a long time ago and since then Gary Kubiak's scheme has come in and it just doesn't seem to suit him. While the absence of Stefon Diggs should ensure more volume, Thielan is likely to no longer play 40% of his snaps in the slot with Justin Jefferson arriving. Given he's three times as effective from the slot from a fantasy persepctive, that's a big issue! It's time to fade Adam Thielen.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
We saw a 150-plus target season for Robinson in 2019, which was a rarity among wide receivers. Based on where his targets took place, he had the fourth-most expected fantasy points among wide receivers last year. There's little reason to expect that to change, as the Bears lost Taylor Gabriel and replaced him with an older, slower version in Ted Ginn. There were just two games last season where Robinson finished with fewer than seven targets, making him an easy every-week start. In fact, he posted WR2 or better numbers in 62.5 percent of his games, which ranked fifth behind only Michael Thomas, DeAndre Hopkins, Julio Jones, and Davante Adams. The fact that the Bears snagged Nick Foles only helps the Bears receivers, as they have twice the chance at competent quarterback play. Robinson should be considered a high-floor, low-end WR1, as it's unlikely he comes with the ceiling of those with better quarterback play.It was a down year for Thielen in 2019, who's suddenly 30 years old (August 22nd, he will be) with back problems. That's not a recipe for success for a wide receiver, though it helps that he's the only steady presence at wide receiver. Most will look at the target totals from last year and wonder where his targets come from, but don't forget that Thielen saw 298 targets over the previous two seasons. Last year was an incredibly efficient year for the Vikings on the ground, and when you combine the fact that Thielen missed half the season, you can understand why their pass attempts came crashing down to earth. With the defense likely taking a step back after losing many starters, we should expect to see their run-to-pass ratio come back towards the league average, which would help Thielen's target potential. Knowing that he's the only receiver in the starting lineup who has any chemistry with Cousins, we should expect at least eight targets per game. That calls for him being a high-end WR2 at the very least when he's in the lineup, though his injury concerns have to be built into his cost. His current ADP is the WR11, which is too expensive for the risk you're taking on.

He got it done with Trubs last season, but with Nick Foles running an RPO offense, I like Arob even more. Can Thielen keep the consistency going without Stefon DIggs? Are the injuries behind him?

Foles is the best QB he's ever had. Robinson should be a steady back end WR1 again in 2020Thielen should produce borderline WR1 numbers as the main main in Minnesota.

Packer Report
Even while catching balls from Mitch Trubisky, Allen Robinson was a legitimate stud in 2019 catching 98 passes for 1,147 yards and seven TDs. Now, he may get an upgrade at QB with Nick Foles in Chicago. Similarly to many players, COVID will impact his ability to work with his new QB but once they get on the same page, we could see a more dangerous Robinson than ever.People seem to be forgetting about Adam Thielen this year due to the fact that he missed the final six games of 2019. Word of advice, don't ignore him. With Stefon Diggs now in Buffalo, Thielen is going to be a target magnet, especially in the red-zone. He is a solid WR2 with legitimate WR1 upside.

Was the lipstick on Bears' piggish offense in 2019 with Top 10 WR finish in FAN PTS - sounds crazy, but Foles arguably best passing QB he's ever been paired withCould push lofty 10 targets per game with WR Diggs out of the picture and new OC Kubiak likely to throw more often than old OC Stefanski did

FantasyPros
Robinson was the lone bright spot in the passing game, finishing 2019 with 1149 yards from scrimmage and 7 touchdowns. I think whether Nick Foles or Mitchell Trubisky is the starter, he is a WR2 capped by a dicey QB situation.Thielen ended up missing 6 games due to injury and he finished with 424 yards from scrimmage and 7 touchdowns. He should rebound from that with a healthy 2020 season, but he is more of a low-end WR2 or high-end WR3 in an offense that features RB Dalvin Cook.

FantasyPros
There are very few players that we can claim who could finish as the No. 1 overall fantasy WR this season. Robinson is one of those players with his skillset and the offense that he's in. If Nick Foles is the starting QB, this offense is going to be able to move the ball more effectively than they did last season, which means even more scoring opportunities and targets for the receiving options. Anthony Miller is Robinson's only real threat for targets in this offense and Robinson was incredibly productive last season with Mitchell Trubisky throwing him the ball. Robinson saw 154 targets and 98 receptions in 2019 and there's a possibility we see that number go up this year. Don't miss out on drafting Robinson, especially when you factor in his ADP right now. With Stefon Diggs being traded to the Buffalo Bills, Thielen has an incredible opportunity in front of him right now. While Justin Jefferson will take away some targets, Thielen's in line for a huge season. As long as he can stay healthy, he'll be a borderline WR1 all year.

Since being drafted (2014), among WRs w 300+ targets, ARob is: - 17th in PPR pg (14.32) - 12th Targets pg (8.78) - 20th in Rec pg (4.93) - 18th in YPG (65.96) - 13th in Rec TDs (33) with nothing at QB @FF_MarvinEAdam Thielen is a fake value and that entire Vikings offense is going to be a mess post-Diggs. Don't bet on age 30 bounceback years from injury at a top 4 round price. @FF_RyanB

Never had fewer than 5 targets in any game. Super consistent despite the QB play. The Vikings went from 6th to 30th in attempts following the firing of Defilipo and promotion of Kevin Stefansky. Cousins thrived in the new system, ranking 9th in play action pass attempts. Thielen has seen a steady decline in targets dating all the way back to last year when Dalvin Cook returned from injury and the OC changes were made. Injuries have been an issue as well.
