BRoto Fantasy
Miller is a decent RB who will continue to be decent. He had over 1100 yards and 6 TDs last season and he is still the lead back on a dynamic offensive team. He averaged just over 12 points a game last season and should continue to do more of the same.Robinson was disappointing last season to say the least, 55/754/4. Had a single game in 13 half ppr contests with over 14 fantasy points. Now he is being selected as a low end WR2 and that is too rich for my liking. He has not produced up to par for years now.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Robinson led the Bears in targets last year despite playing in just 13 games, and had a big playoff performance with 10 catches for 143 yards and a touchdown. Now, in his second year playing with Mitchell Trubisky in Matt Nagy's system and another year removed from his ACL tear, some growth should certainly be expected. Don't let last year's "disappointing" season allow you to let Robinson fall too far. He should be a relatively reliable starting wide receiver in all fantasy formats.
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
If we forget his one big season from FOUR years ago, ARob has averaged 4 TDs in his other three healthy seasons. Last season, he had over 6 catches ONE time and scored a TD in only four games. He'll see consistent targets, making him a WR3, but not much more.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
It may not excite anyone to pick Miller but he falls to you as your RB3, you should be pleased. He is an RB2 every season and if the offensive line has finally improved, he has upside for more, assuming he and Watson can both stay on the field. The Duke Johnson trade does limit his three-down upside, however.Robinson may have disappointed last year but let's remember that he was coming into a new offense with limited pre-season work due to his significant injury. He missed some time but still led the team in targets and may bounceback to his former WR1 self with a fully healthy season in this up-and-coming offense.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
He hasn't been the sexiest fantasy pick in recent years, but he's continually delivered RB2-type numbers for RB3 cost. After watching the Texans pass over plenty of running backs in the draft, it was a lock for Miller to be on the roster. Not just that, but they upgraded the offensive line through the draft as well, which can only help his efficiency. He isn't going to win you your fantasy league, but he's not going to lose it, either. The addition of Duke Johnson is more worrisome than D'Onta Foreman, adding another level of risk to Miller, though he should still provide flex value, at minimum. It's tough to know how you should value Robinson, as he was coming off a torn ACL in 2018, joining a new team with a new quarterback, and learning a new offense. With that being said, he'll likely be a bit more inconsistent than he was in Jacksonville due to the number of weapons the Bears have available. Between him, Anthony Miller, Taylor Gabriel, Trey Burton, Tarik Cohen, and David Montgomery, you may be stuck with some lackluster weeks, which is not something you want out of your WR2, meaning he's best-suited as a WR3 who'll give you some WR1 performances at times
Nick Zylak
Fantasy Football Advice
Miller has never been an exciting pick, but he's been over 1,000 total yards, with at least 6 TD's in 5 consecutive seasons. He's also been a model of health, missing just 4 games over the past 6 seasons. That's solid value in the mid portion of drafts. What hurts him this season is the Texans trading for Duke Johnson. He's a great running back, and will be used on third down situations. That really hurts Miller's upside.Robinson is a very uninspiring pick this season. He's on a good offense, with a good QB and a good OC. The problem is all the talent around him. They have Cohen/Gabriel/Miller, who are all capable pass catchers, but Montgomery can also catch passes, Burton is a solid receiving threat, and Patterson will be used on designed plays. I have Robinson projected to see a 20% target market share...and I really can't increase it much from there. That sort of volume gives him the 44th highest projection among WR's. That's not going to cut it for me. I'll happily pass on him in the middle rounds of drafts.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Miller has been able to hang on to his job thus far, but the acquisition of RB Duke Johnson means he will not be used as much in passing situations. Miller should be a low-upside RB3.
Rich Piazza
Fantasy Shed
Just because the Texans cut Foreman, doesn't mean that Miller's value and outlook is on the rise. It seems unlikely that they go into the season with just Cullen Gillaspia, Taiwan Jones, Damarea Crockett, and others behind him. There is a move to be made before the start of the season, and one that could have a greater impact than threat Foreman had.
