While the city of Chicago is elated that Fields is now in town, there's probably no one happier than Robinson. After playing with guys like Blake Bortles and Mitchell Trubisky for his entire career, Robinson finally has the chance to put up absurd numbers with competent QB play. He's still made it work and has been a fantastic fantasy asset for many years now, but this has the chance to be special. ARob will still be a very reliable receiver with Dalton behind center this year, but he has the chance to push top-5 WR status as soon as Fields takes over. Robinson's one of my favorite early WR selections this year. It's true, the injury history is adding up for OBJ and making it more and more difficult to select him in fantasy drafts each season. With that being said, he's now coming at enough of a discount that it's not going to significantly damage your team if Beckham misses time yet again. The upside is still there for someone of Beckham's talent and he has the potential to be a very reliable asset for your lineup in 2021. Due to the offensive philosophy, we're probably never going to see OBJ max out with 12+ targets in a single game, but he's simply too talented to not return value on where he's being drafted if he stays healthy. Adding OBJ as your WR2 or WR3 if you load up on RBs early in your draft is a great strategy this year.

Sleepers and Busts
It's amazing the stats Allen Robinson has put up with such lousy QBs. Last year he had 102 receptions 1,250 yards and 6 TDs. The Bears, unhappy with their offense, went back to the drawing board. First they signed QB Andy Dalton. Then they made a bold move to draft Ohio St QB Justin Fields after he slid in the draft. Fields might need time to learn the playbook. Nick Foles is still there too. Just think how good Robinson could be if the Bears actually scored a few TDs per game? Expect similar stats. The Bears offense is probably at least a year away from making a substantial leap.Odell Beckham is one of my favorite players. That three finger catch he made against Dallas on Sunday Night Football saved my bacon and got me into the playoffs. The concerns, and they are big ones, are 1.) Beckham is coming off a torn ACL. He hurt it late Oct 2020 and had surgery in early Nov. Those usually take two years for players to feel normal. The stopping and starting for WRs is even tougher to come back from than say for a QB. He could reinjure it if he comes back too soon. He also might lack the confidence it holds up and not play like his old self. 2.) The Browns are a run oriented team. Even if he was 100% healthy coming into the season his targets will be more limited than if he were on a passing team. For those reasons I'm down on Beckham in 2021 even though he's one of the most talented WRs in the NFL.

Andy Dalton could bring some uneven results early for A-Rob, but it's easy to bet that rookie QB J. Fields will take over sooner rather than laterAmong WRs with at least 20 receptions, was 4th in FAN PTS per reception in 2020

You can't ignore a 200/2,397/13 receiving line over the last two seasons (zero drops), especially when that production came with some pretty lousy QB play. A-Rob should be a tour de force this season with Andy Dalton/Justin Fields under center. In Cleveland, OBJ has failed to come close to the huge numbers he posted in his first three seasons with the Giants. Still, he hasn't been as bad as many believe. In his first two seasons with the Browns, Beckham Jr. went for at least 74/1,000 before missing nine games in 2020. As long as he plays the whole season, I can't rank him lower than WR24. There's just too much talent.

It's very rare to find a player of Robinson's talent level and target share going in the 4th round. Robinson has never had good quarterback play and yet has still produced as a low-end WR1 - now that he'll have Fields at some point this year, his upside is huge. Robinson ranked 3rd in the NFL in targets last year (between Hopkins and Adams) and there's no reason to assume his targets should decrease too much. Further, those targets are hopefully better quality than what Foles and Trubisky were able to provide. The worst-case scenario here is that Dalton/Fields aren't much of an improvement and he still produces low-end WR1 numbers like he did last year. Getting Robinson anywhere from the mid-2nd and beyond is great value and he's someone I'm targeting in all my leagues. Not long ago, Odell Beckham Jr. was a top-5 fantasy WR and yes, while his injury history is concerning, there's simply no way a healthy OBJ doesn't return value on his current WR-27 ADP. In terms of his health, he managed to avoid the PUP list and reports are he's feeling great. As for his role on the field, the days of OBJ consistently seeing over 10 targets a game are over, but with his talent, he doesn't need that to produce - this offense is going to be run-oriented while mixing in deep shots to keep the defense from stacking the box - who do you think those deep balls are going to? Odell is a great pick after loading up on RB's early as a WR2 or WR3 with far more upside than his peers and someone I'm targeting in all my leagues.

Opportunity is everything, right? It's why despite Robinson's lackluster quarterback play, he's been able to finish as a top-12 receiver in back-to-back seasons. The upgrade to Andy Dalton was solid, but if the Bears play Justin Fields, it could be even better. Based on opportunity alone, Robinson should have finished as the WR4 in each of the last two seasons (that's based on how many targets he saw and where he saw them), so there's certainly room for improvement in his finish. Robinson has proven to be a WR1 with bad quarterback play in this same offense, making him one of the safer options as a low-end WR1/high-end WR2.Let's do an exercise... How many targets per game do you anticipate Beckham getting this year? I'm going with an extremely low number and say he averages 6.5 targets per game. That sounds more than reasonable, right? Beckham had 7.0 targets per game during the 2020 season before getting hurt and that includes a three-target game against the Steelers. The Browns were also throwing the ball a lot less early in the year as Baker Mayfield was still getting grasp on Kevin Stefanski's playbook. If Beckham gets 6.5 targets per game, that'd put him on pace for 104 targets, which again, is what I'd consider low. There were just 32 receivers in the NFL who hit that number last year, with 24 of them (75 percent) finishing as top-24 receivers and just two finishing worse than WR38. You mean to tell me with Beckham's talent, he can't produce top-24 numbers? There's health risks for sure, but there's also top-five wide receiver upside.

Here were my points against Beckham last year as a top 15-WR: he had finished as the WR83, WR16, and WR26 in the previous three seasons, the Vikings ran the ball 48% of the time under Kevin Stefanski (fourth most in the NFL) and so he'd never approach his customary 10 targets per game, and he's an injury risk. Well, the Browns ran the ball 48% of the time last year (fourth most in the NFL), Beckham received seven targets per game, and he lost much of the season due to injury. All the concerns over Beckham hold true this year except for his price, which is now as the 25th WR in half-PPR ADP. Beckham will certainly have some boom games and the Browns' offense should improve this year in Stefanski's second year, but the lack of target volume is going to put a ceiling on Beckham's value. Fantasy managers are drafting him as a borderline WR2 - that's exactly what he is.

Bears return = path to tons of volume. And now he'll have the best QB of his career throwing to him. Think ARob has a ceiling we haven't seen yet.

Robinson II had 211.9 in 16 games, despite playing with Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles. Robinson is a low-end WR1 that could have some upside if Justin Fields can earn the starting job and play at a high level.OBJ is on track to be back with the Browns in Week 1 coming off an ACL injury. He is a WR3 that will have a few big games on one of the more run oriented offenses in the NFL.

FantasyPros
Allen Robinson has played with Blake Bortles, Blaine Gabbert, Nick Foles and Mitch Trubisky. Yet, he's still found a way to stay a fantasy asset over his career. Justin Fields/Andy Dalton are upgrades for the Bears and Robinson will continue to be the WR1 of the team with plenty of target volume in '21. Robinson has back to back 150+ target seasons and should be a PPR beast again this season with 100 rec and 1,200 yards well within his grasp.
